Genre Field Notes

Feel free to download the complete archive, which includes notes and compilation art: Sounds from the Rainbow (2000 - 2023) 12.6 GB

To assist readers and listeners navigate the complete archive, I organized all the field recordings into seven distinct genres (see below). Click on the genre title to open the spreadsheet.

Several performers have multiple recordings available, sometimes not limited to a single genre. For instance, a musician may have a couple of tracks in the Folk genre while also having one track in the Stories genre. There are hundreds of performers, many of which have just one featured track respectively. I encourage you not to overlook those, they are no less important, and I believe you’ll occasionally stumble upon a noteworthy recording.

Each spreadsheet lists the following categories: Artist, Track Title, Album, and Track Length

*Artist and Track Title are combined in the Ambience spreadsheet

Ambience
