Vermont 2016

Welcome to this year’s collection of rainbow field recordings!

The gathering was held near the town of Mt. Tabor, Vermont in the Green Mountain National Forest. In previous compilations, I have uploaded about one to two hours of material designed in the style of an album/CD (including cover art and tracklisting), offering said recordings in a simple layout.

This year—perhaps motivated by taking a break from recording during the last two annual gatherings—I really went full bore. So much so that my partner Kristen and I, with great help from a friend, Ferris aka Show Us Your Kitties, set up a camp called Story Glory, which was a place where folks could stop by and share sounds, songs, stories, poems, rants, rambles, riddles, rhymes, editorials, tutorials, memorials, complaints, blessings, prayers, incantations, yodels, what-ifs, and other whatnots (for the full Story Glory wish list listen HERE).

To assist you with your listening adventure(s), I have organized this year’s recordings by camp. Scroll away to find 177 recordings (who’s counting, anyway!?).
